Is the person that is hired to do the tax paper work supposed to deduct the tax, or is the employer who deducts the tax money? How does this work?

I think the tax breaks should be removed from corporations who are reporting a certain level of profit. Up and coming businesses need that extra money for reinvestment. Sometimes I make some typos at work but I always end up correcting them and the company has not lost any money, nor have any customers ever gotten upset/complained. My employer did not make me sign any contract saying that I agreed to this but today she told me that if I make any more mistakes that she will dock my pay. However, I am wondering if this is legal. Question about pension credit?

Ok so my mum was receiving income support and I always wanted a part time job whilst at college/university but couldn't because my income would have been deducted from my mum's income support but now she's going to be receiving state pension + pension credit (for a married couple). She also gets disability living allowance as she has cancer. My question is, will me getting a part time job affect any of her payments? By eternal I don't necessarily mean infinite but more towards timeless, if that makes any sense. I mean accepting existence becomes so much easier when the answer to my question is yes. The complexity that comes with science and religion alike is that they are both looking for origin. When in truth nothing can really exist without always existing. If there was a point where something "started" it technically always existed, making the universe as we know it eternal. I'm not saying it can't be subject to change or destruction, but it has always been here in some way. It's a strange concept to grasp but I believe the universe was not created or started but just IS. We have no reason to believe the universe has not always existed, we just tend to think a lot about a point where the universe did not exist, so we seek origin. We'v been friends since the first day we started school together 18 years ago. Can my landlord still charge me for "damages" if he already returned my security deposit?

My landlord returned the security deposit within 30 days of the end of the lease (like he was supposed to according to law), but on top of having deducted money for normal wear and tear (e.g. touch up paint, bathroom cleaning fees, etc), he's now asking for more money for damage that we supposedly did to the house even after he'd already returned our deposits. I work as a busser at a restaurant that has a tip pool. I get payed $7.25 plus tips. Every server tips out 1.5% of food and alcohol sales that goes into a busser tip pool. This money then gets split up between the bussers depending on how many hours each one worked. So lets say theres 10 servers and two bussers on a given night, and each server sells exactly $1,000 dollars worth of food and alcohol. Each server would tip $15 dollars into the tip pool, making the total amount of the tip pool $150 dollars. Technically each busser should receive $75 in tips for that night. But for every hour that each busser works, the restaurant deducts $1.50 out of each busser's tips. So if each busser worked 6 hours that night, the restaurant would deduct $9 from each busser's tips so that each busser would receive $66 instead of $75. It doesn't seem like much, but that amount adds up over time. The restaurant says this amount is taken out to cover their 7.65% of payroll taxes that they're supposed to pay. Well my question is, is this legal. Are they allowed to take this money out of our tips to pay their payroll taxes?

First of all I know about Form 3949-A, but so far the IRS has just ignored my report (I guess they get too many of these or maybe the IRS has bigger fish to fry). But I know a couple who have been committing fraud for the last 5 years. They file "married filing joint" every year but they only report the wife's income. The husband who makes more money than his wife ,doesn't include his income on their tax returns. As a result they get money back from EIC and WPC, plus all her money back on her W-2. I am absolutely positive about all this and have given the IRS their names, addresses, as well as the place where her husband has been working full time for 5 years. For some reason the husband is paid with checks every week but his employer who is a self-employed race horse trainer, doesn't deduct taxes. Does the IRS not really care about this?

So we moved out yesterday. Our landlady came around and made a big deal about the way the bathroom and kitchen were. She said that she would get 'professional cleaners' in to clean the oven and fridge which is RIDICULOUS. They were NO WAY in a mess. I purchased a vehicle in 2006 and i have been making payment, well i contacted the finance company because i noticed that there is $1605.05 unaccounted for, so i then ask for them to provide me with a copy of my contract, they cannot find it. i get with the consumers credit commission who regulate the finance company and they get a copy of the contract only to show that its half of the contract with no signatures from me whatsoever on the contract, as well as they said that the 1605.05 was a trade in, i never traded in any vehicle let alone did i give a down payment, plus this money was not deducted from the asking price of the car.
